The new 40D installation amplifier delivers exceptional sound in permanent applications. Alongside the new KSLi loudspeakers, the 40D drives the same remarkable system performance: broadband directivity control; significant headroom down to the lowest frequencies; and enhanced high frequency resolution, of the KSL System – optimized for fixed installations. The 40D amplifier has a voltage output capable of driving the KSLi loudspeakers to their full potential; upgraded DSP power and will be compatible with AVB/Milan for signal and data transport. The latest amplifiers are fully integrated into the d&b workflow. New to the d&b installation amplifier range is a 4,3″ color touch display. This read-only display provides confirmation of speaker settings, device status, IP and Rem.ID of each amplifier. In case of an error (i.e. input monitoring fault) direct text info is displayed.
