Midwich Group and Poly have introduced a Hardware-as-a-Service (HaaS) program, designed specifically so that new and existing channel partners can offer the latest UC technology to their customers without the requirement for substantial upfront outlay. The offering coincides with the announcement of a worldwide distribution partnership with Plantronics, Inc (Poly, formerly Plantronics and Polycom) and is intended to meet the demand for the Zoom Video Communications platform.
Officially launching on September 1, the HaaS offering will address the increase in end-user demand for consuming technology as a service and will initially be available in the UK and Ireland, North America, Australia and New Zealand, with a subsequent rollout to additional regions planned.
Additionally, Midwich Group welcomed Poly as a global vendor, noting that its video solutions certified for Zoom will be deployed by Midwich as part of the HaaS offering.
“Customers are facing the unprecedented challenge of navigating a world where the work ‘place’ is less important,” Nick Tidd, VP – Global Partner Organization, Poly, said. “The partnership we have with Zoom, coupled with this impressive HaaS model, enables our customers to not only connect from any location, but maintain productivity effectively.”
