EM Acoustics’ EMS-41 point source model has joined the company’s EMS series of passive speakers. The sub-compact 4″/0.85″ coaxial design provides background sound reinforcement of speech and music in near-field environments such as bars, restaurants, hotel foyers, leisure centers, retail spaces, theater balconies and discreet corporate applications. The EMS-41 delivers 86dB sensitivity; 100Hz to 18kHz (±3dB) frequency response with shallow LF roll-off, thanks to its infinite baffle design; and a 80° conical dispersion pattern. The CNC-machined, all-plywood enclosure measures 5.9″Hx4.7″Wx5.1″D and weighs 3.5lb. Cabling options include parallel-linked NL4s, as well as a 4-pole Phoenix connector. In addition to the standard black-and-white textured paint finishes, RAL-matching color options are also available. The EMS-41 is supplied with an adjustable horizontal yoke, and it can be fixed on an optional wallmount bracket or 3/8″ mic stand.
