Kramer has formed a global partnership with networking hardware specialist NETGEAR to deliver complete end-to-end solutions for AV-over-IP infrastructure and to further accelerate Ethernet-based AV distribution in professional environments. Kramer has made a long-term commitment to delivering audio and video over the IP network, with a product range that includes encoders, decoders, transcoders, together with enterprise-level management and control solutions.
Kramer’s offering now includes NETGEAR’s full range of data networking switches worldwide, giving customers a single point of contact for turnkey delivery of complete AV-over-IP solutions, optimized for their application. This is ideal for large scale environments, including both civil and military government applications for command and control rooms, education environments and corporate rollouts, ensuring future proofed, scalable and agile solutions that can continue to evolve with resolution, bandwidth and latency requirements.
NETGEAR is a founding member and Kramer is a contributing member of the SDVoE Alliance, a consortium of technology providers who aim to standardize the adoption of Ethernet-to-transport AV signals, allowing software to define AV applications.
