Ronald Eligator has joined AMA Consulting Engineers to lead a new acoustics practice under the banner of Eligator Acoustic Associates.
Eligator has a 40-year track record practicing acoustics. For the past 25+ years, he was a senior partner within a consulting firm. He has worked on many projects, including the Canadian Parliament House of Commons, National Public Radio, Williams College Center for Theater and Dance, Harlem Stage and Barnes Foundation.
In addition, there have been many other projects that saw Eligator working with AMA over the years. These projects include NBCU Sports, Warner Media HQ Hudson Yards, Telemundo Headquarters, Steiner Studios, NBCU DC Network News/Meet The Press, Sirius XM Radio and NBCU Stage 1 Tonight Show.
Given the Eligator name recognition, AMA sought to create a separate business unit having its own Eligator-related identity while also adding a new vertical to its current portfolio of services. Eligator Acoustic Associates is as an independent consulting practice that will foster existing business relationships that choose to continue to work with Eligator. The company will also provide additional opportunities for AMA to be that single-source of services that many clients request when soliciting for engineering services.
