Point Source Audio’s AxC-AVB interface card for AuviTran’s Audio ToolBox allows users to connect an AVB device or network to any other audio device or network by adding the appropriate interface cards to the Audio ToolBox. Audio Video Bridging (AVB) is a common name for the set of technical standards widely adopted by the commercial audio market. A wide range of manufacturers use AVB for many of their Ethernet-enabled products, from speakers to switches. For the first time, AVB can now shake hands with Dante through AuviTran’s Audio Toolbox. The AuviTran range includes modular hardware platforms, breakout boxes and software control to build and manage networks running multiple audio protocols and formats, such as Dante, EtherSound, CobraNet and MADI.
