Premier Mounts (PM) is expanding its West Coast warehouse and operations in Corona CA. The current 50,000-square-foot facility, which was designed with future expansion in mind, will see increased growth within the Logistics and Fabrications teams.
“By increasing our Logistics capacity, we have the opportunity to reduce shipping lead-times, and improve our reaction time to ‘late day’ critical orders,” Brent Henderson, Director of Supply Chain for Premier Mounts, said. “This also ensures critical projects during the COVID-19 crisis can still ship, even if our warehouses in Las Vegas or Buffalo are affected in the future due to the virus.”
The current warehouse space is designed with narrow-aisle, high-pile, racking systems that have increased pallet capacity from about 250 to more than 2,100. Premier Mounts had previously allocated just 2,000 of the 50,000 square feet for their Logistics team. The balance of that space was utilized by Fabrication and Assembly teams. After re-engineering the warehouse layout in early 2020, 20,000 square feet of space was reallocated for the Logistics team. Within the Fabrication department, this project includes some capital expenditures that will increase capacity and manufacturing flexibility.
Premier Mounts goal is to continuously provide an exceptional customer experience by using knowledge and expertise of the display industry to manufacture industry transformative products that establish foundations for substantial AV projects around the globe.
