QSC’s Q-SYS Platform with Support for Global Caché iTach Devices and GC-100 Network Adapters

QSC and Global Caché have created a partnership that enables the Q-SYS Platform easily to control Global Caché iTach devices and GC-100 Network Adapters, as well as a connection to its Control Tower IR cloud database. Through these co-developed plugins, integrators can bridge the networking gap to IR devices by bringing software-based network control to more than 200,000 non-networked IR devices via the Q-SYS Platform, and placing any of these controls onto native Q-SYS touchscreen controllers. Built around an open-standard infrastructure, the QSC platform offers an integrated control engine to connect to virtually any 3rd-party endpoint with an available API. This partnership opens up the possibility for Q-SYS users to control hundreds of thousands of non-networked devices.
