RTS’ BTR-30N 2-channel narrow-band UHF/VHF wireless system is the latest addition to the company’s intercom portfolio. The BTR-30N frequency-agile base station supports up to 4 TR-30N (dual channel) or TR-32N (dual channel stereo) frequency-agile beltpacks. The system’s hybrid dual-band UHF/VHF design makes it a flexible and user-friendly choice for today’s changing and shrinking RF environment. It is suitable for applications such as broadcasting, education, event production, hotels/cruise ships, houses of worship, theaters, utilities and more. By taking advantage of the lower VHF frequencies unaffected by RF spectrum changes, the BTR-30N gives users the ability to increase their wireless system capacity beyond the more limited operating range of UHF alone: signals from base station to beltpack are sent in the VHF spectrum (from 174MHz to 216MHz), and signals from beltpack to base station use UHF (from 482MHz to 572MHz).
