Taking place from October 24 to 26, this year’s VR Days Europe conference will provide attendees with key takeaways on virtual, augmented and mixed reality (XR) business solutions, covering the theme: “What role does XR technology currently play, and what can be expected of mixed reality solutions in the future?”
Over 140 thought leaders and experts are participating in the event, and speakers will include XR technology practitioners and technology developers. These include: David Helgason, Founder of Unity; Michael Buckwald, Founder of Leap Motion, Mel Slater, Co-Director of the Event Lab, Universitat de Barcelona; Miriam Reiner, head of the virtual reality and NeuroCognition Lab at the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology and Jaroslav Beck, CEO of Beat Saber.
VR Days Europe will take place at two locations within Amsterdam. The DeLaMar Theatre will host the Vision & Impact Conference on October 24. This one-day conference welcomes industry experts to present delegates with new ideas, technologies and solutions, building on experience across arts, healthcare, storytelling and corporate backgrounds.
An exhibition, features and workshops will take place at the Kromhouthal Amsterdam on October 25 and 26. At the Kromhouthal, over 100 exhibitors will present VR, AR and XR technologies, with a program of events running in tandem to the exhibition. The Church of VR will feature VR content from over 30 artists, and the XR Creators’ Lab will enable teams to work on projects during the event. A trio of market-specific summits will feature talks, panel discussions and roundtables focusing on enterprise, healthcare and media, and arts and entertainment.
